Plano strives to continually address residential roadway safety and livability concerns of our residents. As such, Plano City Council adopted new Street Design Standards in September 2023. These standards include a new neighborhood traffic management program which addresses real and measured traffic issues such as speeding, elevated traffic volumes, crashes, and unsafe roadway conditions. We encourage citizens and Neighborhood Homeowner Associations to voice their traffic safety concerns through the process laid out below.
